If I'm not mistaken, gmail does not show users ip but replaces it with
blackhole ip.

Maybe someone else could explain this one, but it looks like a future
spam haven since it's trivial to plug in a proxy into your browser.

Futhermore it tags your From address if you use mutiple addresses and
send mail from one other than your main gmail address.  Maybe someone
who knows gmail can explain this one.
