Folder just appeared in Evolution... didn't put it there, and it wouldnt let me delete it.

Note: there are other mail sorting tools in ubuntu repositories like
maildrop, etc that may be installed.

However, it's strange.  none of these mail filters do this type of
behavior without some type of config file.  But a plugin in Thunderbird
or Evo or a filter misconfiguration is likely.
