Ubuntu crashing

This wasn't it.  The computer just crashed again.  I'm not sure I'm 
running compiz anyway.  I should check.  I know it didn't work under 
Hardy on my laptop... but I'm not sure what it was supposed to do 
anyway.  

Any other ideas?
