Good Idea for new users

9.10 is the latest and greatest with all the inherent glitches that come

Remember that there are some /really/ new changes like upstart from 
init, ext4 from ext3, grub2 from grub, et al.  Granted upstream is /not/ 
going to release anything unless it was 95% (arbitrary number) certain 
it was going to work.  The other 5% is for us to discover and report 
(with a fix if possible) so that by 10.4 we as a community have another 
/stable/ LTS. 

Instead of steering new users who are willing to try the /newest/ away 
from how it is supposed to work we should make them aware of /possible/ 
things to look for and that we are here to help /if/ they have those 
problems.  I agree that upgrades should and do work.  As a /personal/ 
choice I build from scratch with each new release on this system but 
have several which are left alone except for updates and upgrades.
