I wasn't familiar with liveusb-creator, so I just downloaded it.
Unfortunately it consistently fails with "checksum mismatch" on all the
*.iso images that I have...
However there was no problem creating a bootable USB from live .iso with
both Unetbootin and Usb-creator, which I have installed from the
standard Ubuntu repositories. Unetbootin fedora package is available
from project's page at http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net.
