No print: jobs sit in CUPS

There could be a number of reasons, but before exploring these, but
first try connecting the computer directly to the printer (and not to
the router - if I've understood your setup correctly.)
If you get printed output, CUPS is working OK. Then go back to your
router (perhaps change round the cables?) and if it doesn't work again,
the fault is more than likely with your router...or some change of
setting.
