Hi John.

Its possible, you'll need to put an custoned init file into /etc/init.d/johnfirewallrules where it'll contain:
- all our rules into start subfunction
- delete our rules into stop subfunction
- restart subfunction which will call stop and start subfunction.

For add it on boot, use update-rc command.

For disable default iptables you can use too update-rc.

I hope that will help you.

Best,
Julien.

Is it possible to use a custom iptables script in Ubuntu 8.04.3?

How do I disable the distributed firewall?

    Thanks,

    John
