  I had a connection under network manager, then did updates and lost
the connection, then installed wicd, and decided to go with that.
I don't recall a triangle on it.  (I bit the bullet and restaged the
system but have not installed wicd.)

  I would not have done the rebooting of the router, there are six other
systems on the network, all using the Internet at once.  :(
