How do you define ages? I've seen you and others bash Karl every month on the list. My point is that, in case you missed it, is that you can and so the others correct any errors in a nice way that doesn't offend. Not the case in MHO.

In the second, haven't you noticed that Karl

I've noticed. But how you do it has a lot to do with how someone accepts it or not.

I began by _very_ politely

I don't think him being wrong was the issue with Karl
at this point, he was responding to the criticism with
like manner. And I do think you know that and so do
the others, IMNSHO.

You are not right, IMO. No one who has established his
own business and sold it a a million dollars or more
would be classified as an idiot and I have no reason
to doubt him on this. Anbd Karl has presented some good
advice along with some not. My biggest criticism of Karl
is that he too many time uses the list as a blog or maybe
just to talk to someone. We've all done that to some
extent.
You can help by not calling him(idiot) that and that was the
point of my comments. I know Karl as much as you do
any understand the frustration. I many time just don't
respond if I don't have something none offensive or
constructive to say. I don't hold myself up as an example
of proper response, but take a look at Karl's response to my
last few comments to his posts(blogs). You wont see him take
any offense to my comments and I don't think he would to you or
the others if not for the sarcasm, offensive and humiliating
remarks. I damn sure would take offense to those kind of remarks
if directed toward me and likely reply in like manner.
I don't mean to direct my sentiments to you directly; it was to
all that make those kind of remarks regarding Karl or anyone for
that matter. It just happened that I decided to reply to your
post, which you conveniently decided to snip your part, after
trying hard not to comment to the thread at all. I apologize if
you feel it was directed to you solely as it was not my intent.
I just feel that it is not appropriate to bash anyone posting to
the list and it's not condoned in the CofC.
My appology to the list for the OT,
