In addition to that, it would be helpful to know some other things as
well:
1. What version of Ubuntu are you using? You can find this by going
to System > About Ubuntu. It's listed on the first like after
the title.
2. Your title of 'games?' indicated to me that you are trying to
run a game. Are you having trouble with this? If so, please
state which game you are attempting to use, and what the issue
is.
3. If you are not having issues trying to install/use a game, then
please state clearly what you are trying to do, and what your
getting stuck with. A description of exactly what you're doing,
along with what is happening, and what you expected to happen
would be helpful.
4. You stated that you 'have an hp and no program disk.' Please
elaborate. I assume this means you have an HP computer... is it
a laptop, or a desktop? What program disk are you referring to
(i.e. you don't have an Ubuntu disk, you don't have a windows
disk, etc)?
5. If you don't know what kind of graphics card you have, you can
send some terminal output instead so others may decipher what
card you've got. To do this:
1. Go to "Applications > Accessories > Terminal"
2. Type in lshw -c display and hit Enter/Return
3. Copy/paste the output in your next email. This
information will tell everybody that's trying to help
you what display hardware you have.
4. Additionally, it may be helpful to know what other
hardware you've got. To collect this info, follow the
instructions as above, but just type 'lshw' instead.
I hope this is helpful!
