9.10 is a black eye for Ubuntu - suggestion for the future

I bought one of the very first Dells that had Ubuntu pre-installed. It's 
the Inspiron E1505N. It has worked perfectly ever since.

I think it came with 7.04 installed, which was the current version at 
the time. As soon as Ubuntu came out with a new release (7.10), I 
switched from using Dell's release of Ubuntu to using the releases 
downloaded from the Ubuntu website. They have always worked 100% ... 
yes, that includes the video, wireless, sound, etc. Ubuntu 9.10 is 
working great.

I never looked to Dell to answer any questions, so I can't vouch for how 
good they were or are.

I've looked at the Minis, but they're just too small!!! They make me 
wish that they were bigger or I was smaller! 8-)
