9.10 is a black eye for Ubuntu

This experience reminds me of my Windows & DOS experiences. The
reason that I finally switched to Ubuntu was to get away from the last
automated upgrade done to me (unless it was a virus that attacked
others at the same time).

It is good to have the latest and greatest but it is far better to have the
what is working.

I had decided to wait but what happen was that I got the pop up menu
for new upgrades and hit the accept button without really bothering to
see what was happening. A very stupid mistake on my part.
