I'll try doing those links later after some replies here.

Went online and got an old copy for feisty.  Changed all references from 
feisty to jaunty and all references from gb. to us.  Reloaded synaptic 
and it now sees all these repos.  Also rebooted system.

System> Admin> Sources still shows tab for Debian.
System still shows as running Debian Linux 5
