sharing files between ubuntu computers

I am in a short term rental in Morelia, Mexico.  The Landlord supplies
wireless router connections.  There are 3 such connections.

Here's what I get when I query the intrepid computer that's connected to
2wire2 at the moment:  (in a minute I'll post the results from the intrepid
