Root partition full...how should I free up space?

That directory is larger than the others. Is it part of the root
partition? If so, can you mount it somewhere else? (e.g., mount
another partition, tar up /media, then untar media on the new
partition, remove the files in /media, and then mount the new
partitiion on /media.)

If that's not feasible, try removing files in /media so you can gain
more space in your root partition.
