....
It worked like a charm for a month...
Then suddenly it didn't connect:

tail -f /var/log/messages
http://pastebin.ca/1434877

when I want to launch wvdial:
http://pastebin.ca/1434878

I use this config:

echo '[Dialer Defaults]
Phone = *99***1#
Username=vodafone
Password=vodafone
Stupid Mode=1
Dial Command=ATDT
Modem=/dev/ttyUSB0
Baud=460800
Init2=ATZ
Init3=ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ISDN=0
Modem Type=Analog Modem
Auto DNS=1' > /etc/wvdial.conf

So...I went to the local vodafone store and I hand down the USB modem,
because I still have warranty... (because it's NEW)
...after a few weeks...I finally got back the modem...guess what....the
problem still occurs....

The same error message!!,.................arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ps.: I tried it on a windows machine too, but it "didn't find" the "SIM" and
the "phone number" - at least a "diagnostic menu" said.....

happy day....did anyone see something similar??? :(
