using ejabberd as a chat server

We currently use ejabberd on an ubuntu server.  I setup it up pretty
much following this guide:

I haven't actually ever used the web interface, so I can't speak much
to that.  Do you get any errors with connecting with the clients?
What does your ejabberd.cfg look like?
