It doesn't have to be an advertisement... I have "sent from my phone"
(took "Treo" off the default) on my phone's email messages because I
want folks to know why my messages might not be up to my usual
standards of spelling and capitalization, and/or that I might not
actually be in the office at the moment. I use IMAP to view the
account's mail from all of the systems I use.

HOWEVER I think a list as voluminous as this one would be burdensome
to read/manage on a phone. I suppose it's a testament to that person's
abilities ("geek quotient"?).
