@Karl: haven't been able to figure out how to eradicate ipv6 from jaunty
to test. [IPV6 causes slow internet accessI've tried the bits in:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source/glibc/+bug/313218

et al, and haven't managed to eradicate and/or disable it in Jaunty to
test.
Note: I'm not against ipv6; I worked for a global corporation for some
years actively promoted, and still does, contributes to IPv6. So if you
know of a better way/solution to disable ipv6 in Jaunty I'd be
interested in testing.
