cant access google but ONLY from this machine

Ah, sorry, that might be cause it actually started here:  
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kubuntu-users/2009-January/038051.html  I 
had my lists mixed up.

Perhaps it should be also noted I also followed the same path this thread is 
now following.  I also found a nameserver difference and changing it would 
work until the next reboot of course.  Network manager would change things.
