To copy KVMs from one machine to another I always transfer the 
corresponding config files (/etc/libvirt/qemu/*.xml) along with the 
image files of the disks (if there are any). That way there's no need to 
create new VMs on the target host but (at most) adjustments to the disk 
image paths.
