KVM virtual machine move...

Hi,

I just reinstalled my desktop to 9.04 from 8.10.. I have a few KVM 
virtual machine images from my old setup that I can't seem to work out 
how to make work on the new setup..

I am using virt-manager and creake a new virtual machine but using the 
existing disk image but it won't boot properly.. All I get is "A disk 
read error occured, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to start"..

Is there something that has to be done that will allow machines to be 
moved to other hosts and booted correctly?
