You need an earlier version of the nvidia-xconfig. I have not looked
at the Jaunty list but it should include one that is about
- nvidia-glx-93 but not certain of the number,
I have a nvidia pci card I installed that is a 7200GS and I had the
same problem. The new drivers do not work.
