Flash player not working in firefox

On my wife's 8.04 system, I tried to install flashplayer last week and could 
not manage it from .debs.  Even though my wife's account on the machine 
could play flash, _mine_ couldn't.  Eventually, I copied the 
libflashplayer.so file from her .mozilla/plugins to mine.

otoh, my own system, with flashplayer installed globally from the .debs, 
worked in 8.10 and still works in 9.04.  So, if nobody comes up with a 
better solution for you, finding libflashplayer.so (since you installed 
install_flash_player_10_linux.deb, I think it should be in /usr/lib/adobe-
flashplugin) and copying it to your .mozilla/plugins should be a functional 
workaround.
