Ubiquity failed to mount /boot

Not only was (hd0,0) actually (hd2,0), what I thought was /dev/sda1 (and
mounted as such in /etc/fstab) was actually /dev/sdc1. Result: only the
kernel that was installed with the livecd worked correctly with LVM, the
others didn't.
I still have to tackle an nvidia issue, but I'm pretty sure that it's
related to mounting the wrong /boot. I'm going to reinstall all kernels
and related modules & packages.
