    You were/are not a business man. I was and it was a rule that if you 
spent a lot of money for a product for your company, if it fails to work 
call the indicated number. If they can't give you support you ask for 
permission to return the item. If they plead ignorance you ask to speak 
to their boss. At some point you will get support. Or, you take them to 
court.

    As you know today the help is outsourced to somewhere in Africa, and 
the voice you hear is not speaking English :-(
