Good catch! I just tried (on hardy); before enabling 'Traffic
Validation" in Advanced Options I could go to the website without any
problems. As soon as I enabled it, Firestarter blocked the IP address.

Firestarter 1.0.3 on Hardy 8.04.2 - 2.6.24-24-generic.

Do you have a link to the launchpad bug?
