RAM use by Jaunty and Hardy

460k of swap usage slow the system down?
OMG, what utter nonsense.
BTW, about half of your RAM is essentially free (not claimed by any user
process) - but you don't see it.

Take a look at the CPU and memory load of Firefox and think about it.
