You are not familiar with banks, are you? What do you think they are
running? Windows gives them something most Linux vendors cannot:
pass-the-buck accountability. And it has been evoked in at least one
prominent case to clear a small bank of liability. That does not mean
that MS took the liability, rather, it means that the bank took all
reasonable precautions. I think that the only Linux vendors who could
offer a business liability are Novell and Red Hat, neither of which
provides banking solutions.
