A problem setting up Ubuntu

It looks like they'll probably remain unresolvable in 9.04 - they require 
upgrades to the xserver-xorg-video-intel driver, the kernel, and libdrm.  
I'm currently running the 2.6.30-6-server kernel and libdrm-intel1 2.4.11 
from Karmic and the 2.7.1-0ubuntu1~xup~1 intel driver from the X-Updates ppa 
(deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates/ubuntu jaunty main) 
with almost no (video) issues (the kernel seems to have broken my 
hibernation, though).  Unfortunately, I couldn't get the 2.7.99 driver from 
karmic to work with the 2.6.30.7 kernel.
