Upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 have problem with GlSlideshow

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 I am having problems with GlSlideshow
here is the error that I am getting

X error in xscreensaver-getimage:
X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  72 (X_PutImage)
  Serial number of failed request:  30
  Current serial number in output stream:  39
glslideshow: 11:18:03: only 2.2 fps!  Turning off pan/fade to compensate..

I did google to see if can find away to fix the problem it still not working
