Yes, I did. I burned CD and I am able to use that CD.
I have not booted Ubuntu, however. It lets me run hardware
diagnostics and I am goint to run memory test for a few hours.
I am starting to feel a bit optimistic that this CD will do IT!

I am not sure what you mean by "use a usb key".
USB key = USB Flash Drive or USB flash key
But I
downloaded the file from sourceforge and try to run it.
Here's what it told me:
"C:\Users\blablabla\unetbootin-windows-344.exe is not
a valid Win32 application.
I am starting to feel that there is a conspiracy from microsoft
and they want to stop me from using linux at any cost.
Maybe there is... :P
