looking for a journaling progam

I'm looking for a journaling program that will accept cut and paste 
screenshots.
 
I use "shutter" to grab screenshots and it saves as .png and .jpg.

I've tried "Xournal", "X-pad", "tom boy". and "rhinote".  None of them 
allow me to put a screenshot in the text.

If anyone knows of a program that will do this; I'd really appreciate 
it.  I don't want to go so far as to keep individual notes in Open 
Office.org Writer if I can help it.
