How to shutdown on app close

Well, basically, that single app is a VERY simplified desktop and
email client. But if my users get more competent, I'm perfectly happy
for them to go play with GNOME itself and Firefox etc.

But my simplified front-end app has a "quit" button and I want that to
close the PC down.

Seems fairly simple to me, to be honest...
