Sound Problems

Here is the output of alsa-info.sh .

I noticed that there is no driver listed.  I tried downloading, and 
running the configure-make-install process.  Everything looked ok and I 
didn't see any errors. After the reboot the numbers updated from 1.0.18 
to 1.0.20  but the driver is still missing!  Can I copy it over from the 
liveCD or what?
