How to paste files to windows shares and access those shares from the shell command line?

I had the same problem. I had to use samba to access my windoze network
with Ubuntu 8.10, but when I was using ubuntu 9.04 I could use nautilus
to access my network.
I switched back to 8.10 because there were too many bugs in ubuntu 9.04
and half of the programs I used in 8.10 wouldn't work in 9.04.
Is the network dir that you are trying to paste to read and write. I
know I have my windows network with only one dir that is for read and
right. The other ones I have set up so they can't be changed.
Just a though.
