I'm using a Multitech Systems MultiModem GPRS model MTCBA-G-U-F4.
They've got linux drivers on their page:
http://www.multitech.com/en_US/SUPPORT/Families/MultiModemGPRS/drivers.asp
But they do not work with ubuntu due to some changes in the Debian
kernel headers dealing with USB. It still supposedly works with Fedora,
RH and Suse.
Amazingly, it works out of the box on PuppyLinux. I've got results from
both here:

Any help on this would be appreciated, I'm pulling my hair out over
here. I've asked a couple times in #ubuntu on freenode.
