I don't think so:

http://connect.creativelabs.com/opensource/Wiki/SoundCard Support.aspx
says even Creative's own Linux driver doesn't support that card:

This download is intended for the following audio devices only:

    * Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite Pro
    * Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum
    * Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty®
    * Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
    * Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic

<snip>

X-Fi Xtreme Audio ( SB0790    {Not 20k1 chipset})
      Not sure if this driver works quite yet. Needs to be tested.
      See the latest ALSA-Project driver for Module snd-ca0106
      At the time of this writing, ALSA does not yet state X-Fi Xtreme
Audio, but the source code does contain it.

ALSA has an experimental driver for _some_ X-Fi cards, but remember a
small difference in name can mean _very_ different hardware (Creative
labs seems good at that ;-) :

Depends on the soundcard and what surround sound you want, but there are
a lot of supported cards that can do surround sound.

Linda

Good luck!
