Accessing WebDAV Site

Here's another opportunity for you to rescue me ...

I am running 9.04.  I have established a WebDAV site on my ISP 
(Dreamhost).  I have verified that the WebDAV directory exists by 
connecting to it via my web browser.  I am able to log in, so I know 
the .htaccess file is set properly. Here's the problem:

I am unable to connect via places >> connect to server >> WebDAV (HTTP).  
The message ""Could not display "dav://millermc.net/"".  Error: Not a 
WebDAV enabled share.  Please select another viewer and try again."

Can anyone suggest a way to solve this?  OBTW, I'm not near as smart at 
this paragraph may make me sound, so if you have a suggestion, please use 
small words and speak slowly.
