You do not even need to "press" F using a command line switch but can do
so in an already running less if you feel the need.
In this context, I think it's also worth to mention less' G command. It
moves to the end of the file, reading additional data - if any is available.
BTW: -S make less chop long lines. That isn't what I normally want. But
decide for yourself.
