Can someone explain the output from lsusb here?

	It would help if you included YOUR lsusb output. What it seems to say
is there were 6 ports, and 3 devices, because USB is 2 ports per devise.

	Since Linux finds all 6 ports and you can get only 2 working tells me
your new computer is broke and you should send it back!
