Can someone explain the output from lsusb here?

Yes, that is exactly what I was after.
The lsusb output appears to show at least six ports ready to go, but
only two seem to work. If someone who actually knows what they are
talking about could have a go at explaining the original lsusb output in
simple terms, I'd be most grateful.
Any theories as to why only two of the six USB ports are working, or how
I could diagnose further, would also be welcome...
