Online connection turtle-slow

Then again...

Well this is your lucky day.   I have the same bank and the same problem.

Here is the fix:

sudo gedit /etc/sysctl.conf

add this to the very bottom of the page:

# PC Financial Website Fix
net.ipv4.tcp_window_scaling = 0

save the file and reboot; problem solved.



The actual command should be:

 gksu gedit /etc/sysctl.conf

Note: I've not tried it as I don't want to reboot on this machine for
awhile. I'll try it on another in a while.
