Check http://www.virtualbox.org/.

(Sun) Virtualbox (v.2.1) is free for personal use and evaluation. It can 
be installed through Synaptics Package Manager . If you know how to 
install an OS will be able to run Virtualbox easily.

You will need a computer with at least 1.5 Mb RAM memory and 10Gb 
available disk space at /home partition for a typical Windows XP 
installation (and acceptable performance).

I've installed both Windows XP and Windows 7 Beta and they run very 
well. (I have a few proprietary programs that only run in Windows.)
