Internet: browsers fails to connect to SOME sites, not all, for no reason.

Note: as I said, I have long disabled nm. I did re-enable it yesterday to see if it would make any difference, but it didn't, so I disabled it again 2 minutes later.

The IP's stated by nm start by 80 something, so they must belong to my ISP (must have got them from my modem while DHCP'ing to connect the computer to the net, I assume).
