Those _should_ work, but they are pointers pointing to the actual name
servers:
$ host 89.2.0.1
1.0.2.89.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer ns1.numericable.net.
$ host 89.2.0.2
2.0.2.89.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer ns2.numericable.net.
So you might try putting in the actual ns IP's (82.216.111.75 and
82.216.111.76) and see if that makes a difference. It shouldn't as I can
ping both, but you never know...
