Problem starting Firefox session

Firefox was installed by default when you installed Ubuntu, there was no
need to 'install' it. It is/was located in
Applications|Internet|Firefox. How did you go about 'installing' it? If
you can tell us that, then perhaps we can guide you through removing and
then restoring.
