Java (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_(programming_language)) and
JavaScript (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JavaScript) are totally
different.  However, it is possible that the bank's site is not
compatible with Ubuntu's Java (which Java that is depends what version
of Ubuntu).
