Scribus for Ubuntu (Gnome desktop?)

Hi everyone:

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 (Gnome desktop) on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop and 
wanted to know if they Scribus is available to the  Gnome desktop or is 
it just KDE? Thanks.
