ssh within lan, bidirectional, causes Linksys wireless router to hiccough

I'd recommend that you check on the Cisco/Linksys forum.

Seems that there have been issues with timeouts etc., with ssh on their
wireless routers. I'd also check to ensure that you have the most recent
firmware.
